Coming into operation in accordance with regulation 1(2) to (5)

As required by Article 9 of Regulation (EC) No. 178/2002[^f00006] of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down the general principles and requirements of food law, establishing the European Food Safety Authority and laying down procedures in matters of food safety, there has been open and transparent public consultation during the preparation and evaluation of these Regulations.

Derogation relating to milk and milk products

The requirements laid down in Articles 9(1) and 10(1) do not apply to milk or milk products presented in a glass bottle where the glass bottle is intended for reuse.
