Specific conditions referred to in column 5 of the table set out in Part 1

If vaccination of animals against foot and mouth disease in the zone was stopped by the competent authority of the third country or territory due to a favourable situation of that disease in that third country, territory or zone, the competent authority of the third country or territory shall guarantee that the surveillance programme for foot and mouth disease is: (a) applicable for the zone demonstrating the absence of foot and mouth disease; and (b) carried out and controlled by the competent authority. |
| No vaccination carried out | No vaccination against foot and mouth disease shall be carried out in the zone and the competent authority of the third country or territory shall guarantee that the surveillance programme for foot and mouth disease is: (a) applicable for the free zone demonstrating the absence of foot and mouth disease virus; and (b) carried out and controlled by the competent authority. |
| Additional traceability | 1. The animals from which the meat is obtained must be identified and registered in the national System of Identification and Certification of Origin for bovine animals. 2. The establishments of origin of the animals from which the meat is obtained must be listed as approved establishments by competent authority of the third country or territory, following the favourable outcome of an inspection carried out by the same competent authority that must be reflected in an official report, in IMSOC, and inspections must be regularly carried out by the competent authority to ensure that the relevant requirements provided for in Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/692 are complied with. 3. The list of approved establishments provided by the competent authority must be reviewed on a regular basis and kept up to date by the competent authority. The list of approved establishments must be publicly available for information purposes by the Commission. |
