On-Street Parking (Amendment) Bye-Laws (Northern Ireland) 1996

Coming into operation: 1st July 1996
NOW THEREFORE the Department in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Articles 107(1), 109(2) and 110 of the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 1981 and of every other power enabling it in that behalf makes the following bye-laws:
Citation and commencement

These bye-laws may be cited as the On-Street Parking (Amendment) Bye-Laws (Northern Ireland) 1996 and shall come into operation on 1st July 1996.
Bye-Laws amended

The On-Street Parking Bye-Laws (Northern Ireland) 1987[^f00002] shall be amended by the substitution for Part 4 of the Schedule of the Scale of Charges set out in the Schedule to these bye-laws.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the bye-laws.)
These bye-laws amend the On-Street Parking Bye-Laws (Northern Ireland) 1987 by revising the charges applicable to on-street parking.
Any person who contravenes a bye-law shall be guilty of an offence under the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 1981 and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 2 on the standard scale (£500) for each offence.
