Coming into operation: 29th July 1996

The Secretary of State, in pursuance of sections 25 and 26 of the Police Act (Northern Ireland) 1970[^f00001] and Article 14(6) of the Police (Northern Ireland) Order 1987[^f00002] and after consulting, in accordance with section 34(2) of that Act, the Police Authority and the Police Association, hereby makes the following regulations:—

Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Royal Ulster Constabulary (Discipline and Disciplinary Appeals) (Amendment) Regulations 1996 and shall come into operation on 29th July 1996.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations.)

These regulations make minor amendments to regulations 17(12)(b) and 37(9)(b) of the Royal Ulster Constabulary (Discipline and Disciplinary Appeals) Regulations 1988 and substitute revised forms of caution for those contained in Schedule 1A to those regulations.
