The Department of the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 1(2) of the Registration (Land and Deeds) (Northern Ireland) Order 1992[^f00001] and paragraph 2(1) of Schedule 1 to the Northern Ireland Act 1974[^f00002] and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following order:
Citation

This Order may be cited as the Registration (Land and Deeds) (1992 Order) (Commencement No. 3) Order (Northern Ireland) 1997.
Interpretation

In this Order, “the Order of 1992” means the Registration (Land and Deeds) (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 and any reference to a numbered Article or Schedule is to the Article of or, as the case may be, the Schedule to, that Order bearing that number.
Appointed day
3
The provisions of the Order of 1992 specified in the Schedule shall come into operation on 1st April 1997.

This Order brings into operation on 1st April 1997 the remaining provisions of the Registration (Land and Deeds) (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 not already in operation.
