Made: 16th June 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred on me by Article 1(2) of the Protection from Harassment (Northern Ireland) Order 1997[^f00001], I hereby make the following Order:—

Citation

This Order may be cited as the Protection from Harassment (1997 Order) (Commencement No. 1) Order (Northern Ireland) 1997.

Appointed day

2

The day appointed for the coming into operation of Articles 2, 3, 4, 5(1) and (2), 6, 7, 8 and 9 of the Protection from Harassment (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 shall be 17th June 1997.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order.)
