Electricity (1992 Order) (Commencement No. 3) Order (Northern Ireland) 1998

The Department of Economic Development, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 1(2) and (3) of the Electricity (Northern Ireland) Order 1992[^f00001] and paragraph 2(1) of Schedule 1 to the Northern Ireland Act 1974[^f00002] and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation

This Order may be cited as the Electricity (1992 Order) (Commencement No. 3) Order (Northern Ireland) 1998.

Commencement

The provisions of the Electricity (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 which are not already in operation shall come into operation on 1st February 1999.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order.)

This Order brings into operation on 1st February 1999 the provisions of the Electricity (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 which were not brought into operation by the Electricity (1992 Order) (Commencement No. 1) Order (Northern Ireland) 1992 or the Electricity (1992 Order) (Commencement No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 1992 namely, the provisions in relation to the use, etc, of electricity meters.
