In the exercise of the powers conferred on me by Article 1(2) of the Family Homes and Domestic Violence (Northern Ireland) Order 1998[^f00001] and of all other powers enabling me in that behalf, I hereby make the following Order:
Citation

This Order may be cited as the Family Homes and Domestic Violence (1998 Order) (Commencement No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 1999.
Appointed day
2
The Family Homes and Domestic Violence (Northern Ireland) Order 1998 (except Articles 35 and 36 hereof) shall, insofar as it is not already in operation, come into operation on 29th March 1999.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order.)
This Order brings into operation on 29th March 1999 the provisions of the Family Homes and Domestic Violence (Northern Ireland) Order 1998 (except Article 35 (Provision for third parties to act on behalf of victims of domestic violence) and Article 36 (Provision for separate representation for children)) not already in force.
