The Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety[^f00001] in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Articles 12(1), 26(3) and 47(2) of the Food Safety (Northern Ireland) Order 1991[^f00002] and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, having regard in accordance with Article 47(3A) of that Order to relevant advice given by the Food Standards Agency, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Food (Animal Products from Belgium) (Emergency Control) (Revocation) Order (Northern Ireland) 2000 and shall come into operation on 23rd May 2000.
Revocation

The Food (Animal Products from Belgium) (Emergency Control) Order (Northern Ireland) 2000[^f00003] is hereby revoked.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order.)
This Order revokes the Food (Animal Products from Belgium) (Emergency Control) Order (Northern Ireland) 2000 (S.R. 2000 No. 72—“the revoked Order”) and implements, in relation to food, Commission Decision 2000/301/EC repealing the protective measures with regard to contamination by dioxins of certain products of porcine and poultry origin intended for human or animal consumption (O.J. No. L97, 19.4.2000, p. 16). (The protective measures concerned were contained in Commission Decision 1999/788/EC (O.J. No. L310, 4.12.1999, p. 62) as amended by Commission Decision 2000/150/EC (O.J. No. L50, 23.2.2000, p. 25) and were implemented, in relation to food, by the revoked Order).
