Coming into operation: 6th November 2000

The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Article 13 of the Magistrates' Courts (Northern Ireland) Order 1981[^f00001] and Article 8(8) of the Domestic Proceedings (Northern Ireland) Order 1980[^f00002], on the advice of the Magistrates' Courts Rules Committee and after consultation with the Lord Chief Justice, hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

These Rules may be cited as the Magistrates' Courts (Domestic Proceedings) (Amendment) Rules (Northern Ireland) 2000 and shall come into operation on 6th November 2000.

Saving

Nothing in these Rules shall affect proceedings commenced before these Rules came into operation.

Application for order under Article 8 of the Domestic Proceedings (Northern Ireland) Order 1980

For Form D3 in Schedule 1 to the Magistrates' Courts (Domestic Proceedings) Rules (Northern Ireland) 1996[^f00003] there shall be substituted the new Form D3 set out in the Schedule to these Rules.

(This note is not part of the Rules.)

These Rules amend the Magistrates' Courts (Domestic Proceedings) Rules (Northern Ireland) 1996 by substituting a new Form D3.
