The Food (Emergency Control) (Revocation) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006
Made: 30th August 2006
Coming into operation: 1st October 2006
There has been open and transparent public consultation during the preparation of the following Regulations as required by Article 9 of Regulation (EC) No. 178/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down the general principles and requirements of food law, establishing the European Food Safety Authority and laying down procedures in matters of food safety[^f00004].
Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Food (Emergency Control) (Revocation) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006 and shall come into operation on 1st October 2006.
Revocations

The statutory rules specified in column 1 of the Schedule are revoked.

Explanatory note

EXPLANATORY NOTE
These Regulations provide for the revocation of specified statutory rules which implemented Commission Decisions imposing conditions on the import of specific products that could be contaminated with excessive levels of aflatoxins.
