The Department of Finance and Personnel[^f00001], in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 25B(1) of, and paragraph 1(9) of Schedule 8B to, the Rates (Northern Ireland) Order 1977[^f00002], makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Rates (Exclusion from Service of Completion Notices) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2007.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations prescribe a class of building in respect of which the Department of Finance and Personnel is excluded from serving a completion notice for the purposes of the unoccupied rating provisions of the Rates (Northern Ireland) Order 1977.
