The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 1(2) of the Criminal Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2005 [^f00001].

This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice (2005 Order) (Commencement No.3) Order (Northern Ireland) 2007.
Appointed day

The day appointed for the coming into operation of Article 21 of the Criminal Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2005 is 12th March 2007.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order brings into operation on 12th March 2007 Article 21 of the Criminal Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2005 (“the parent Order”).
Article 21 provides for continuity, regarding a person’s appearance in a magistrates’ court, of bail granted by the police.
