The Department for Social Development makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 1(2) of the Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 2005[^f00001].

Citation

This Order may be cited as the Pensions (2005 Order) (Commencement No. 11) Order (Northern Ireland) 2008.

Appointed days

The day appointed for the coming into operation of Article 250 of the Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 2005[^f00002] (resolution of disputes)—

(a) for the purpose only of authorising the making of regulations, is 12th March 2008, and

(b) for all other purposes, is 6th April 2008.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order provides for the coming into operation of Article 250 of the Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 2005—

for the purpose only of authorising the making of regulations relating to the internal dispute resolution procedure, on 12th March 2008; and

for all other purposes, on 6th April 2008.
