The Biosecurity Guidance (Specification of Brucellosis) Order (Northern Ireland) 2010

Coming into operation: 1st June 2010
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development[^f00001] makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 4A(1) of the Diseases of Animals (Northern Ireland) Order 1981[^f00002].
Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Biosecurity Guidance (Specification of Brucellosis) Order (Northern Ireland) 2010 and shall come into operation on 1st June 2010.
Biosecurity guidance

Brucellosis is hereby specified for the purposes of Article 4A(1) of the Diseases of Animals (Northern Ireland) Order 1981.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order specifies brucellosis for the purposes of Article 4A(1) of the Diseases of Animals (Northern Ireland) Order 1981, enabling the Department to introduce statutory biosecurity guidance for that disease.
