The Aquatic Animal Health (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2011

Coming into operation: 1st May 2011
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972.
Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Aquatic Animal Health (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2011 and come into operation on 1st May 2011.
Amendment of Aquatic Animal Health Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2009

- (1) The Aquatic Animal Health Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2009[^f00003] are amended in accordance with paragraph (2).
- (2) In Schedule 1 (list of diseases) after the entry relating to Spring viraemia of carp add—
Ostreid herpesvirus 1 µvar Pacific oysters (Crassostrea gigas).

EXPLANATORY NOTE
These Regulations amend the Aquatic Animal Health Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2009 by adding Ostreid herpesvirus 1µvar (OsHV1- µvar) to Schedule 1 List of Diseases.
