The Office of the First Minister and deputy First Minister makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 28(2) of the Commissioner for Older People Act (Northern Ireland) 2011[^f00001].

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Commencement Order brings the powers, duties and responsibilities of the Commissioner for Older People as set out in the Commissioner for Older People Act (Northern Ireland) 2011 into force. Sections 2 to 24 and Schedule 2 are brought into operation.
