Made: 15th November 2012

The Department for Social Development makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 18 of the Licensing and Registration of Clubs (Amendment) Act (Northern Ireland) 2011[^f00001].

Citation

This Order may be cited as the Licensing and Registration of Clubs Amendment (2011 Act) (Commencement No. 4) Order (Northern Ireland) 2012.

Appointed Day

2

1st January 2013 is the day appointed for the coming into operation of the provisions of the Licensing and Registration of Clubs (Amendment) Act (Northern Ireland) 2011 specified in column 1 of the Schedule, for the purposes set out in column 2 of the Schedule.

Provisions of the Act Subject Matter
Section 4 in so far as it relates to Article 57A(1), (2)(d), and (3) to (7): Irresponsible drinks promotions
Section 10 in so far as it relates to Article 31A(1), (2)(d), and (3) to (6): Irresponsible drinks promotions
Schedule 1, Part 3, Column 1 in so far as it relates to Article 57A(5): Table of offences with penalty points
Schedule 2, Part 3, Column 1 in so far as it relates to Article 31A(4): Table of offences with penalty points

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order provides for the coming into operation of the provisions of the Licensing and Registration of Clubs (Amendment) Act (Northern Ireland) 2011 listed in the Schedule to this Order, on 1st January 2013.
