Coming into operation in accordance with Article 1(2)

The Department of Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 46(6) of the Justice (Northern Ireland) Act 2002[^f00001], makes the following Order:

Amendment of the Justice (Northern Ireland) Act 2002

(i) Health and Social Care Board and Health and Social Care Trusts,

(j) the Central Investigation Service within the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development,

(ja) the Veterinary Service Enforcement Branch within the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development,

(k) the Child Maintenance and Enforcement Division,

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order revises section 46(1) of the Justice (Northern Ireland) Act 2002 to reflect the changing circumstances of the criminal justice system in Northern Ireland and the organisations that operate within it. Section 46(1) sets out a list of organisations that the Criminal Justice Inspection Northern Ireland (CJINI) has a duty to inspect. This Order
