Coming into operation: 1st April 2015

In accordance with section 56(1) and (5) of the Finance Act 1973, the Department of Finance and Personnel consents to the making of these Regulations.

Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Zoonoses (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2015.

(2) The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954[^f00006] shall apply to these Regulations as it applies to an Act of the Northern Ireland Assembly.

Amendment of the Zoonoses (Fees) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2011

(1) The Zoonoses (Fees) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2011[^f00007] shall be amended in accordance with paragraph (2).

(2) For the Schedule substitute the Schedule to these Regulations.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations amend the Zoonoses (Fees) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2011.

They make provision for the Department to charge fees for activities required under Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1003/2005, Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1168/2006, Commission Regulation (EC) No. 646/2007, Commission Regulation (EC) No. 584/2008, Regulation (EC) No. 2160/2003 and Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1237/2007. The activities and the fees are listed in the Schedule.

A regulatory impact assessment, which includes compliance cost assessment of the effect that these Regulations are likely to have on business costs, has been placed in the Library of the Assembly. Copies may be obtained from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Animal Disease Control and Trade Policy Branch, Room 714, Dundonald House, Stormont Estate, Upper Newtownards Road, Belfast, BT4 3SB.
