The Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure [^f00001], makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 26(1), 89 and 95(1) (of the Fisheries Act (Northern Ireland) 1966 [^f00002] and now vested in it [^f00003].
Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Fisheries (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015 and come into operation on 1st June 2015.
Amendment of the Fisheries Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2014

The Fisheries Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2014[^f00004] shall be amended as provided in Regulation 3.
Exemptions to Catch and Release for Salmon Angling

For Schedule 7 (List of Waters where Catch and Release for Salmon Angling does not apply) there shall be substituted the following Schedule:

| Clady River (Co. Londonderry) | 1st June to 31st October in any year (both dates inclusive) | 1st June to 31st October (both dates inclusive) – 2 salmon |

EXPLANATORY NOTE
These Regulations amend the list of waters which are now exempt from catch and release for salmon angling.
