The Licensing (Form of Licence) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2016

Coming into operation: 1st September 2016

The Department for Communities[^f00001] makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 33 of the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996[^f00002] and now vested in it[^f00003].

Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Licensing (Form of Licence) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2016 and shall come into operation on 1st September 2016.

Amendment to the Licensing (Form of Licence) Regulations

The Licensing (Form of Licence) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997[^f00004] are amended as follows—

• (a) In Part I of Form I of the Schedule (Kind of premises for which licence granted), after [indoor arena] insert [an outdoor stadium];

• (b) In Part II of Form I of the Schedule (Particulars of approved plan and other details as to grant or provisional grant of licence), in paragraph D after [5(1)(k)] insert [5(1)(l)]; and

• (c) For Part 1X substitute—

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations amend the Licensing (Form of Licence) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997 by prescribing the form of licence which is issued by a court to authorise the retail sale of intoxicating liquor in an outdoor stadium under the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996.
