These Regulations are made with the approval of the Department of Finance[^f00003] under sections 5 and 6 of the Agriculture Act (Northern Ireland) 1949.

Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Farming for the Generations Scheme (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2024 and shall come into operation on 6th March 2024.

Amendment to the Farming for the Generations Scheme Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2024

(1) The Farming for the Generations Scheme Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2024[^f00004] are amended as follows.

(2) Omit regulation 9.

(3) In regulation 11, omit paragraph (1)(c).

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations amend the Farming for the Generations Scheme Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2024 to omit regulation 9 and amend regulation 11 to remove powers of inspection.
