The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 44(1) and 60(3) of the Further and Higher Education (Scotland) Act 1992[^f00001] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Designation of UHI Millennium Institute (Scotland) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 1st April 2001.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order designates UHI Millennium Institute as an institution which may be funded by the Scottish Higher Education Funding Council. It also makes provision for the designation to continue in the event of a change of name of UHI Millennium Institute.
