The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 6(1) of the Fur Farming Prohibition (Scotland) Act 2002[^f00001], hereby make the following Order:

Citation

This Order may be cited as the Fur Farming (Prohibition) (Scotland) Act 2002 (Commencement) Order 2002.

Appointed day

The day appointed for the coming into force of the Fur Farming (Prohibition) (Scotland) Act 2002 is 1st January 2003.

Explanatory note

This Order appoints 1st January 2003 as the date for coming into force of sections 1 to 5 of the Fur Farming (Prohibition) (Scotland) Act 2002.
