The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section206(2) of the Children’s Hearings (Scotland) Act 2011[^f00001].
Citation

This Order may be cited as the Children’s Hearings (Scotland) Act 2011 (Commencement No.1) Order 2011.
Appointed day
2
19th January 2011 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Children’s Hearings (Scotland) Act 2011—
- (a) section 1 (the National Convener);
- (b) paragraph 8(7) of schedule 1 (the National Convener).

Explanatory note

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order brings into force on 19th January 2011 section 1 of, and paragraph 8(7) of schedule 1 to, the Children’s Hearings (Scotland) Act 2011 (“the Act”).
The Act received Royal Assent on 6thJanuary 2011. Part20 (other than section203) came into force on Royal Assent.
