Act of Sederunt (Registration Appeal Court) 2012

The Lords of Council and Session, under and by virtue of the powers conferred upon them by section57(2) of the Representation of the People Act 1983[^f00001] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, do hereby enact and declare:
Citation and commencement

- (1) This Act of Sederunt may be cited as the Act of Sederunt (Registration Appeal Court) 2012 and comes into force on 1st October 2012.
- (2) A certified copy of this Act of Sederunt is to be inserted in the Books of Sederunt.
Registration Appeal Court

- (1) The court for hearing appeals under section57(1)(b) of the Representation of the People Act 1983 shall consist of the Right Honourable Lord Eassie, the Right Honourable Lord Clarke and the Honourable Lord Stewart.
- (2) The Act of Sederunt (Registration Appeal Court) 2010[^f00002] is revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Act of Sederunt appoints three judges to hear registration appeals under section57 of the Representation of the People Act 1983. It revokes the Act of Sederunt (Registration Appeal Court) 2010, which previously made such provision.
