Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003 (Conservation Bodies) Amendment Order 2012 and comes into force on 30thMarch 2012.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order amends the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003 (Conservation Bodies) Order 2003 by replacing “The Trustees of the New Lanark Conservation Trust” with “New Lanark Trust” in the list of prescribed conservation bodies. This is due to the body changing its name. Conservation bodies are bodies in favour of whom it is competent to create a conservation burden under section38(1) of the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003.
