The Housing (Scotland) Act 2014 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2015

Coming into force: 1st April 2015

The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 104(3) of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2014[^f00001].

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Housing (Scotland) Act 2014 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2015 and comes into force on 1st April 2015.

Appointed day

• (1) 1st April 2015 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the provisions of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2014 specified in paragraph (2).

• (2) The provisions are—

• (a) section 85 (Tenement management scheme), insofar as not already in force;

• (b) section 87 (Work notices);

• (c) section 88 (Maintenance plans);

• (d) section 90 (Non-residential premises: repayment charges);

• (e) section 91 (Repayment charges: recovery of repayable amount); and

• (f) section 92 (Charging orders).

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order brings into force on 1st April 2015 the provisions of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2014 (“the 2014 Act”) listed in article 2.
