Coming into force

The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 7(3) of the Pollution Prevention and Control Act 1999[^f00001] and all other powers enabling them to do so.

Appointed day

1st April 2015 is the day appointed for the coming into force of section 6(2) of, and Schedule 3 to, the Pollution Prevention and Control Act 1999 so far as relating to the following repeals in the Environment Act 1995[^f00003]—

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order corrects an error in the Pollution Prevention and Control Act 1999 (Commencement No. 3) (Scotland) Order 2015 before that Order comes into force. Article 3 ensures that certain repeals to the Environment Act 1995 made by Schedule 3 to the Pollution Prevention and Control Act 1999 are clearly commenced on 1st April 2015.
