In accordance with section 18(4) of that Act[^f00002], a draft of this Order has been laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament.

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Public Appointments and Public Bodies etc. (Scotland) Act 2003 (Treatment of Crown Estate Scotland (Interim Management) as Specified Authority) Order 2016 and comes into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

Treatment of Crown Estate Scotland (Interim Management) as Specified Authority

Crown Estate Scotland (Interim Management) is to be treated, for the purposes of or in connection with any appointment to that body, as if it were a specified authority within the meaning of section 2(1) of the Public Appointments and Public Bodies etc. (Scotland) Act 2003 (the Commissioner’s functions).

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order provides that Crown Estate Scotland (Interim Management), for the purposes of or in connection with appointments to that body, is to be treated as if it were a specified authority listed in schedule 2 of the Public Appointments and Public Bodies etc. (Scotland) Act 2003.
