In accordance with section 21(1) of the Public Service Pensions Act 2013, the Scottish Ministers consulted such persons or the representatives of such persons as appeared to the Scottish Ministers likely to be affected by these Regulations.

Citation, commencement and effect

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Local Government Pension Scheme (Miscellaneous Amendments) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2019 and come into force on 28 June 2019.

(2) These Regulations have effect from 1 June 2018.

Amendment of the Local Government Pension Scheme (Miscellaneous Amendments) (Scotland) Regulations 2019

(1) The Local Government Pension Scheme (Miscellaneous Amendments) (Scotland) Regulations 2019[^f00002] are amended in accordance with paragraphs (2) and (3).

(2) In regulation 2(12)(b) for “penultimate” substitute “the third”.

(3) Regulation 2(27) is revoked.

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations amend the Local Government Pension Scheme (Miscellaneous Amendments) (Scotland) Regulations 2019 to amend two minor errors. These Regulations amend regulation 2 of those Regulations and come into force on the same date as regulation 2 and have effect from the date that regulation 2 has effect.
