The National Assembly for Wales, having consulted those persons which it is required, by section 4(3) of the Local Government Act 1999[^f00001], to consult, makes the following order in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 4(1)(a) and (2) and section 29(1) of that Act.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This order revokes the Local Government (Best Value Performance Indicators) (Wales) Order 2002 which specifies, for Wales, performance indicators by reference to which the performance of county councils, county borough councils and national park authorities (as best value authorities), in exercising their functions, were to be measured from the 1 April 2002. This order will come into force on the 1 April 2005.
