The Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) (Amendment) (Wales) Order 2007

The Welsh Ministers, in exercise of their powers under sections 1, 7 and 23(f) and (g) of the Animal Health Act 1981[^f00001], make the following Order:

Title, application and commencement

• (1) The title of this Order is the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) (Amendment) (Wales) Order 2007:

• (2) This Order applies in relation to Wales.

• (3) This Order comes into force at 3.05pm on 28 August 2007.

Amendments to the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) Order 1978

• (1) The Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) Order 1978[^f00002] is amended in accordance with this Article.

• (2) In the table in Schedule 1 (which lists approved disinfectants) after the row containing the entry for VI-RID insert

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order which applies in relation to Wales amends the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) Order 1978 (“the 1978 Order”), S.I. 1978/32.

Schedule 1 of the 1978 Order lists disinfectants approved by the Welsh Ministers. This Order amends Schedule 1 to add Virkon Advanced to the list of approved disinfectants.

A full regulatory impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument.
