Coming into force in accordance with article 1(2)

The Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by article 13(1)(b), (2) and (6) of the National Assembly for Wales Referendum (Assembly Act Provisions) (Referendum Question, Date of Referendum Etc.) Order 2010[^f00001], make the following Order:

Title, application and commencement

Overall maximum recoverable amount

The overall maximum recoverable amount for each voting area[^f00002] is the amount listed in column 4 of the Table in the Schedule.

Maximum recoverable amount for specified services

The total of the charges recoverable by a counting officer[^f00003] in respect of the services of the description specified in article 4 must not exceed the amount listed for each voting area in column 2 of the Table in the Schedule.

The specified services are—

Maximum recoverable amount for specified expenses

The total of the charges recoverable by a counting officer in respect of the expenses of the description specified in article 6 must not exceed the amount listed for each voting area in column 3 of the Table in the Schedule.

The specified expenses are—

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order makes provision about the maximum recoverable amounts for the services and expenses of counting officers in connection with the referendum that is to be held in accordance with the National Assembly for Wales Referendum (Assembly Act Provisions) (Referendum Question, Date of Referendum Etc.) Order 2010 (“the Referendum Order”).

This Order is made under article 13 of the Referendum Order which sets out further provision in respect of the recovery by counting officers of amounts for such services and expenses.

Article 2 of this order specifies the overall maximum recoverable amount for each voting area in column 4 of the Table in the Schedule.

Article 3 of this Order specifies that the total of the amount recoverable by each counting officer in respect of the specified services described in article 4 of this Order must not be more than the amount that is listed for each voting area in column 2 of the Table in the Schedule.

Article 5 of this Order specifies that the total of the amount recoverable by each counting officer in respect of the specified expenses described in article 6 of this Order must not be more than the amount that is listed for each voting area in column 3 of the Table in the Schedule.
