The Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011 (Commencement No.5) Order 2012

The Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 150(5) and 156(2) of the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011[^f00001], make the following Order:
Title

The title of this Order is the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011 (Commencement No.5) Order 2012.
Commencement
2
The following provisions of the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011 come into force on 17 April 2012—
- (a) section 22 except for subsection (2)(b) to (d) and the definition of “standards enforcement investigation” in subsection (9);
- (b) section 24; and
- (c) section 44.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order is made under sections 150(5) and 156(2) of the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011. It commences provisions of the Measure that relate to the disclosure of information obtained by the Welsh Language Commissioner in the exercise of the Commissioner’s functions and provisions that relate to consultation with the Advisory Panel to the Commissioner. In addition, the Order commences a definition of the meaning of “compliance notice” for the purposes of those parts of the Measure that relate to Welsh language standards.
