The Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011 (Commencement No.7) Order 2013

The Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by section 156(2) of the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011[^f00001], make the following Order:

Title

The title of this Order is the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011 (Commencement No.7) Order 2013.

Commencement

The following provisions of the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011 come into force on 7 January 2014—

• (a) section 120(2);

• (b) section 120(3);

• (c) section 120(4) in so far as not already in force;

• (d) section 123;

• (e) section 124;

• (f) section 125;

• (g) section 127;

• (h) section 128;

• (i) section 131;

• (j) section 133; and

• (k) Schedule 11 in so far as not already in force.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order is made under section 156(2) of the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011 (“the Measure”). It brings into force provisions of the Measure that relate to the Welsh Language Tribunal to enable the Welsh Ministers to appoint the members of the Tribunal and for the President to start preparatory work. The provisions are within Part 7 of, and Schedule 11 to, the Measure.
