The Welsh Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by section 88(3)(c) of the Environment (Wales) Act 2016[^f00001].

Title and interpretation

(1) The title of this Order is the Environment (Wales) Act 2016 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2017.

(2) In this Order “the Act” (“y Ddeddf”) means the Environment (Wales) Act 2016.

Provisions coming into force on 1 April 2017

The appointed day for Part 6 of the Act coming into force is 1 April 2017 so far as not already in force.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order is the second commencement order made by the Welsh Ministers under the Environment (Wales) Act 2016 (“the Act”).

This Order brings Part 6 of the Act into force on 1 April 2017 so far as not already in force.
