The Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 72(4) and (6) of the Elections and Elected Bodies (Wales) Act 2024[^f00001], make the following Order:
Title and interpretation

- (1) The title of this Order is the Elections and Elected Bodies (Wales) Act 2024 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2025.
- (2) In this Order, “the Act” means the Elections and Elected Bodies (Wales) Act 2024.
Provisions coming into force on 18 July 2025

Section 24 (reports by the Electoral Commission) and section 64 (undue influence) of the Act come into force on 18 July 2025.

Explanatory note

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order is the second commencement order made by the Welsh Ministers under the Elections and Elected Bodies (Wales) Act 2024 (“the Act”).
Article 2 of this Order brings into force section 24 (reports by the Electoral Commission) and section 64 (undue influence) of the Act on 18 July 2025.
